Banquet Porter

The Banquet Porter/Labourer is responsible for banquet and meeting room set ups / tear downs, baggage handling, possible serving shifts as necessary.
- Set-up all meeting rooms as per guidelines given from the Event Sales Coordinator.
- Clean out rooms at end of function and re-set rooms for next function.
- Refresh all rooms during lunch break.
- Ensure all Banquet rooms and storage areas are clean at all times and kept in proper condition according to company standards.
- Take empty beer bottles to receiving area at end of night.
- Keep portable Bars clean at all times.
- Help take trolleys full of dirty dishes to kitchen area.
- Always work in a quiet, orderly fashion so as not to disturb meetings that are in progress.
- Ensure Banquet checklist is completed during and after completed functions
- Perform any other duties as required by management to ensure customer service.

**Job Type / Category**

The wage for this position is $16.00/hour. The position could require the employee to work 15-30 hours per week.

The starting date to train for this position will be effective immediately. The applicant must be available to work day time and evening hours (24-7) and for scheduling on weekday and weekend shifts.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Must be flexible to work days, evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift heavy objects minimum 50 lbs
- Must be polite, courteous, and respectful
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work as a team or independently
