We are seeking a Billing Specialist to undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks. This is a fixed-term assignment for eight months with the potential for a permanent position.
- The successful applicant will handle the billing and processing of incoming payments along with working with our clients, project, and operations teams.**Skills and Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for creating, posting, and mailing client invoices
- Manage the status of accounts, balances and identify inconsistencies
- Responsible for receiving and sorting incoming payments with attention to details
- Reconcile AR, Unapplied Cash, and Work-in-Progress against Trial Balance
- Update accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
- Provide solutions to any relative problems of clients
- Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
- Liaise with project team as needed
- Ad hoc duties as required
In addition to the responsibilities listed herein, the employee may be required to perform other ad-hoc tasks as needed or directed by the supervisor or management. These tasks will be within the reasonable scope of the employee's skills, capabilities, and role within the organization. The intent of this provision is to allow for flexibility and adaptability in meeting the dynamic needs of the organization, ensuring that operational requirements can be met efficiently. All such tasks will be assigned considering the employee's current workload and with respect to their professional development.**Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience**:
**Knowledge/ Qualification/ Training/ Certification**:
- **Education and Certifications**: Bachelor’s or Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field preferred
- ** Experience**:
- Proven experience as Billing Specialist
- Adherence to laws and best practices in regard to dealing with customers and data
- Comfortable dealing with numbers and the processing of financial information
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
- Preferred knowledge of Oracle Fusion
- Results-driven and patient
- High degree of attention to detail and trustworthiness
- **Skills**:
- Good communicator - written and verbal, in-person and remote via Teams/Zoom/phone
- Ability to resolve issues with company and vendor personnel efficiently and amicably
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Results-driven and patient

- Ability to communicate effectively across location, region and corporate to accomplish objectives
