- YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure packaging production quotas deadlines are consistently met; Ensure all printing and labelling equipment is operating safely and properly.-
- Follow and adhere to all given instructions including work procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP);-
- Adjust equipment to meet specified quantity on work order; Change equipment and machine parts as needed;-
- Prepare equipment or machinery required for operation and strictly adhere to and observe all safety policies;-
- Ensure start-up, operation, shut down, cleaning, and process troubleshooting of the specialized equipment; Perform pre-operational inspections before running equipment.-
- Perform general physical activities in order to load, unload, sort and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment;-
- May participate in replenishment, letdowns, shipping and receiving;-
- Operate, navigate, or drive mechanized material handling equipment;-
- Ensure sanitation procedures are followed on all equipment after production;-
- Other duties as required.- WHAT YOU BRING:- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent;-
- Highly collaborative and able to work as part of a team;-
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal;-
- Basic math, reading and writing skills;-
- Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching;-
- Able to work overtime as needed, including nights and weekends;-
- Reliable and punctual;-
- Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team;-
- General mechanical aptitude;-
- Proficiency with “Ladder Logic”, coding, and/or good creative problem solving; and-
- Flexibility to alternate between 1st and 2nd shift if necessary.You are a DETAIL ORIENTATED individual who remains focussed whilst carrying out tasks.- You are a RELIABLE individual who consistently demonstrates a positive and professional attitude.
You are HIGHLY COLLABORATIVE and thoroughly enjoy working as part of a team.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:- 1-2 years’ experience within a similar Production Technician/Associate role;-
- Previous experience working with cannabis packaging or in production lines required;-
- Computer skills in Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite-
- Previous experience in a regulated environment is required.WHAT WE OFFER:
