Milton, Canada Skyline Deficiency Solutions Inc. Full time

Skyline Solutions is a Construction Deficiency company servicing clients with a portfolio of high-rise and mixed used residential developments throughout Ontario.

We are growing again and are looking for experienced Construction Handymen

**Responsibilities**:
- Completing deficiency work on newly built high-rise/ mixed use residential units in a timely manner.

- Pre/Post PDI, 30 day and year end deficiency repairs.

- Clean up after work has been completed in units.

- Enjoy working in a fast paced, team-oriented environment, as well as working independently.

**- **Multitasking - ability to work on various units/ tasks/projects simultaneously.

**- **Excellent organizational skills, time management skills and demonstrated attention to detail.
- Address homeowner concerns in accordance with Tarion Warranty Guidelines
- Handle conciliation homes promptly and with consideration and to home homeowner’s satisfaction
- Complete forms for Tarion and subcontractors; and PDI reports
- Supervised subcontractors to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of tasks
- Address and complete all Tarion Warranty concerns including replacing tiles (inc. ceramic and marble), caulking (interior/exterior), mudding, minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting, subfloor repair, trim replacement or repair, replacement of flooring (vinyl, hardwood, laminate and carpet), minor cabinetry adjustments, removal

and reinstalling handrails and porch fence systems, minor concrete repairs
- Handle and review homeowner's concerns through creative problem-solving

Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in high rise, residential, and/or condominium construction as a handyperson
- Minimum 1 - 3 years of verifiable experience as a handyperson
- Own vehicle and hand & power tools considered an asset.
- Must have Working at Heights, 4 step worker health and safety, and WHMIS certificates (or willing to obtain)
- Must have good "finishing" skills - paint, patch, caulking, drywall repair, tiling, basic finish carpentry and general adjustments etc...
- Excellent communication and customer service skills and a keen eye for details

Most of all we are looking for people who will represent our company well, have good time management skills and want to be a part of a growing team.

Pay: $24.00-$28.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
