**Scope of the position**:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible to ensure the reliable, efficient and timely delivery of finished goods to Team Eagle customers. This individual will play a key role in managing all aspects of our logistics operations, both domestic and international, including inbound ocean freight shipping, transportation throughout North America, customs brokerage, invoice verification, supplier/vendor negotiation and coordination, and insurance claim processing.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensures the reliable, efficient, and timely delivery of finished goods to customers.
- Ensure that all imported & exported goods comply with customs regulations, including proper documentation and tariff classification.
- Prepare and review import/ export documentation (when necessary) such as bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Obtain quotes for shipments and source the best method of transportation.
- Freight Booking, coordinate the booking of carriers; select appropriate carriers, confirm delivery and drop locations, load details and negotiate rates to optimize cost and service.
- Maintain regular communication with suppliers, customs authorities, and carriers to track shipments and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist Customs Broker to coordinate the customs clearance process, including filing necessary documents, ensuring payment of duties and taxes, and facilitating inspections if required.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns from clients and internal stakeholders regarding import shipments.
- Monitor and control transportation costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Reporting, preparing, and presenting regular reports on freight movements, including shipment status, delays, and cost analysis.
- Receive, review, and ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed, and released to carriers, customers, and customs agents in a timely manner.
- Track and trace shipments providing updates to clients, sales and finance.
- Assist Parts Department as needed.

**Required Skills/Abilities**:

- 3-5 years of related logistics experience primarily with trans-border trucking (LTL & FTL), USA customs requirements, and international air and ocean (LCL & FCL) freight experience.
- Exceptional customer service skills and dedication to a high level of service and performance.
- Demonstrated self-starter, capable of working in a team environment is a must.
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with external and internal customers.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with an ability to multi-task and prioritize in a deadline driven environment.
- Forklift certification as asset.
- Brokerage experience an asset.

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$52,500.00 per year
