Marketing Specialist

**Position Summary**
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and optimizing our digital marketing strategies across various channels while considering and implementing overarching revenue management strategies. Supports systems including maintaining and configuring (fares, schedules, rules, and inventory) as required for both the Perimeter Aviation and Bearskin Airlines’ brands.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, increase website traffic, and generate qualified leads.
- Plan, create, and coordinate marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including search engine marketing (SEM), display advertising, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), social media, and traditional channels in collaboration with Content Marketing Specialist.
- Conduct ongoing market research to identify target audience segments, trends, fares, and competitor analysis to optimize campaign performance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), such as website traffic, conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and return on investment (ROI), and make data-driven recommendations to optimize campaigns and improve results to maximize revenue.
- Manage and optimize loyalty program, mobile app, website, and overall user journeys to drive engagement, conversions, and lead nurturing.
- Manage fare inventory in accordance with revenue management strategies.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest marketing trends, best practices, and industry changes to implement innovative strategies and gain a competitive edge.
- Provide regular reports on campaign performance, ROI, and other relevant metrics to stakeholders, including management, and executive teams.
- Collaborate and coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed for specialized marketing activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, designers, and developers, to ensure consistent brand messaging and optimize user experience.
- Actively participate in the Company’s Safety Management System.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
**Minimum Education, Experience and Certifications**
- Diploma or post-secondary degree in marketing, business, a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or revenue management with a proven track record of executing successful campaigns.
- Understanding of digital marketing principles and current practices/trends.
- Experience with SEO, SEM, Google Analytics, Google Ads (Search and Display), Google Tag Manager, etc.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (focus on Excel). Familiar with WordPress, Prismic, or other CMS’.
- Certification in digital marketing such as Google Ads and Google Analytics, are highly desirable.
- Experience in aviation, airline marketing, ameliaRES/AmeliaCARGO, GDS, AvAIO/VMO, Interline Partnerships, ATPCO an asset.
- Indigenous and Cultural Awareness Training an asset.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain any applicable transportation security clearances and additional authorizations.
**Working Conditions**
- Physically able to perform all listed job duties

**Compensation**
Compensation is commensurate with experience.
