Landscaping Labourer

As a Landscaping Lawn Mowing Crew Member, you will be responsible for assisting in the maintenance and care of outdoor spaces, specifically focusing on lawn mowing and related tasks. Your duties will involve operating lawn mowing equipment, ensuring the quality of lawn cutting, and supporting the overall landscaping efforts of the crew.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform lawn mowing tasks using various types of mowers (e.g., push mowers, riding mowers, zero-turn mowers) according to established schedules and specifications.
- Inspect and maintain lawn mowing equipment to ensure proper functionality, cleanliness, and safety.
- Assist in the trimming and edging of lawns, walkways, and flower beds using appropriate tools such as string trimmers and edgers.
- Remove debris, weeds, and litter from landscaped areas to maintain cleanliness and aesthetics.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries during lawn mowing and related activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate tasks, report issues, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Provide assistance with other landscaping tasks such as planting, mulching, fertilizing, and seasonal clean-ups as required.
- Maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic while representing the landscaping company to clients and the public.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in landscaping, lawn care, or related field preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with operating lawn mowing equipment and landscaping tools.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and procedures in lawn care and landscaping.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required depending on the job requirements.
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to landscaping and equipment operation.

**Salary**: $18.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 55 per week
