Cambridge, Canada ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. Full time

**MAJOR DUTIES**:
The Sales and Operations Planning Leader will be responsible for running the sales and operations planning (S&OP) process for Industrial Automation globally. The incumbent will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing capacity and demand forecasts and ensuring optimal use of resources across the Industrial Automation business.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Run the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process through its monthly cycle, including preparing and leading the monthly executive review
- Review and analyze the forecast demand versus actual demand, understanding changes and trends over time
- Consolidate divisional loading into IA group level view
- Interface with 6 global sites/divisions to understand their resource loading process and standardize outputs
- Share and promote best practices across the divisions and segment
- Monitor capacity expansion and contraction plans across IA and help resolve constraints
- Work with finance to align our operational planning with financial forecasting
- Working with sales, Analyze and upload timely and accurate periods of rolling 18-month forecasts on a monthly basis
- Facilitate monthly demand forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions and stakeholders
- Leverage ABM to create and drive continuous improvement of world-class demand planning and S&OP processes
- Measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics
- Develop capacity simulation processes to run sensitivity analysis for growth
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.

**HEALTH AND SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Demonstrate leadership in Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
- Hold team members accountable for health, safety and environmental compliance as part of the annual performance review process.
- Ensure that the requirements of the health, safety and environment management system are implemented and maintained.
- Carry out hazard assessments, inspections, and audits as required by legislative framework and/or corporate requirements.
- Ensure that training is provided to all departmental employees are per established in the training matrix.
- Implement appropriate corrective measures for unsafe conditions and unsafe acts.
- Ensure that appropriate equipment, materials and protective devices are provided and maintained in safe condition.
- Provide information, instruction and supervision to employees.
- Take every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of employees.
- Attend HSE Due Diligence for Management training sessions.

- A post-secondary technology diploma or equivalent, specializing in business administration, operations management or equivalent.

**EXPERIENCE/ REQUIREMENTS**:

- At least 3+ years’ experience in data mining and analysis in a global organization
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to influence across stakeholder groups
