**Who are We?**

Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential and landscaping services in Nova Scotia & PEI. We are continually growing and are looking to add a Hardscape Foreman to our team in Charlottetown We have done many premier maintenance and design-build landscape projects in NS like Argyle and Spring Garden streets, Queen’s Marque and Peggy Cove’s Viewing Deck.

**Who are You?**

You are an experienced hardscaper/landscaper willing to lead and train a crew. You are very comfortable running a hardscape project from start to finish with limited direction from your manager. You are experienced with basic excavation, grading/layout, gravel base installation/compaction and installation of pavers and retaining walls.

More importantly, you are driven individual looking to grow and be a part of moving a business forward. You are trustworthy so that you can take on tasks and projects within your team with limited supervision. You are able to solve problems and willing to make a decision even if it’s a mistake. You are willing to work outside of your everyday tasks and responsibilities when the team needs you.

You need a valid driver’s license, to be experienced in operating equipment and at least 3 years’ of experience in landscape construction.

**What will you do?**
- Lead a crew of 2-3 labourers
- Train new team members on proper techniques
- Execute hardscape construction projects, including but not limited to patios, walkways, retaining walls, driveways, decks, fences, water features, and outdoor structures.
- Prepare the work area by clearing debris, grading the land, and ensuring proper drainage. Conduct necessary excavation and site preparation activities to create a solid foundation for hardscape installations.
- Help coordinate project schedules and resources to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of hardscape installations. Monitor project progress, identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during construction.
- Interact with clients in a professional and courteous manner. Provide guidance and recommendations based on client needs and preferences. Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment. Adhere to local building codes, regulations, and permit requirements for hardscape installations.
