**ROLE DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

Crane Operators are required to safely operate company 28 Ton, 40 Ton, and 70 Ton picker trucks.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Operate Crane - manipulate controls to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement according to written, verbal, or signal instructions.
- Maintain and repair crane as needed.
- Inspect crane for safety issues on a daily, weekly, monthly & yearly basis.
- Determine if any parts are malfunctioning.
- Complete contractor job sheets, log books, work orders and all other necessary paperwork.
- Lift, position and place machinery, equipment or other large objects at construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Drive picker and delivery trucks to work sites. Load and unload trucks when necessary.
- Follow directions carefully.
- Understands and follows all safety policies and procedures.
- May perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

**ACCOUNTABILITY & DECISION MAKING**
- Must will able to operate all crane equipment in a safe and productive manner.
- Must adhere to all safety procedures

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**

Years of experience combined with education, designations or certifications.
- Must be registered with "BC Crane Safety".
- Must hold valid Crane Level Certification
- Valid Class 1 driver’s license and a clean drivers abstract is required.
- Equipment operation tickets is an asset (AWP, forklift, fall arrest etc.)

**SKILLS & COMPETENCIES**
- Ability to greet customers in a professional and friendly manner.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems is preferred.
- Physically fit, able to lift 50 pounds, and able to work on feet for long periods of time.
- Must be a team player

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40.00-$45.00 per hour
