**What You’ll Do**

The Financial Analyst - Canadian Distribution and US Retail collects and analyzes financial information, providing reporting for regional, channel and CSS partners. They aid the Financial Analysis in all ad-hoc reporting requests and has some ownership in the monthly reporting, monthly forecasting and yearly budget cycles. This role focuses on financial activities within the two channels, with particular attention to the areas of customer reporting, and facilitation of standardizing the process of models and reporting.

**Reporting Relationship & Location**: The Financial Analyst - Corporate will report to the Senior Financial Analysist, Canadian Distribution and US Retail and is a dotted line member of the Finance Team. The Financial Analyst - Canada Pro will also be expected to support cross-team partnerships that focus on improving decision-making processes through identification of issues and analysis. This role will be based out of Halton Hills, Ontario, Canada.

**Responsibilities**

**1. People**
- Support all stakeholders, including internal colleagues, members of the Operations Team and the Senior Management team
- Provide assistance with stakeholder agreements and company accounting procedures in favour of continuous improvement
- Help Finance, Business Partner in the monthly forecasts cycle
- Work with members of the Operational Teams as a Business Partner in key initiatives.

**2. Analysis**
- Evaluate financial risk; prepare financial forecasts, financing scenarios, analytical results and trends on a monthly basis. Participate in the preparation and coordination of operating and investment budgets and assist in the development of annual and long range plans
- Identify and actively drive the resolution of underlying procedural issues and process improvement opportunities
- Assist in the development of processes and procedures to improve accuracy of the forecasts and rolling plans
- Gather, analyze and review operational results, trends and key indicators
- Conduct monthly revenue analysis and generate reports for customers using subsystems
- Complete the monthly financial statements and produce the statement

**3. Financial Result**
- Deliver support with respect to maintaining, controlling and improving company cost allocations and overhead
- Ensure the business control environment is maintained and/or improved in a fit-for-purpose way and that all company-related Finance controls are executed accordingly
- Help the Finance, Business Partner in the development of business cases and financial modeling for key projects, pricing and profitability
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports for internal customers, as well as ad-hoc analysis for senior management and the assigned departments as needed
- Assist in driving standardization of models, reporting, etc.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor degree in Business Economics, Accounting or comparable
- Pursuing a financial designation - i.e., CMA, CGA, CPA, etc.
- 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis and/or accounting
- Aptitude to learn and understand technology and research & development programs
- Strong interpersonal skills capable of working closely with, negotiating with and influencing other staff at all levels within Finance and the business
- Good understanding of stakeholder and customer management
- Analytical skills required to conduct thorough, objective research and make recommendations regarding investment decisions, as well as the ability to effectively present these decisions
