Building/yard Maintenance Professional

**Primary Function**: Mature, experienced Individual responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring the upkeep and smooth operation of the properties. This role requires a hands-on approach to building maintenance, repairs, inspections, and grounds keeping.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine building maintenance tasks including daily inspections of buildings, yards, and fences.
- Conduct summer and winter grounds keeping using company tools & machinery.
- Operate equipment safely, such as snow blowers, lawn equipment, loaders & power tools.
- Co-ordinate various trades to conduct and complete HVAC, sump & fence repairs, etc.
- Conduct routine property and system checks, reporting any issues.
- Handle chemicals safely for maintenance purposes.
- Drive company vehicles safely for pickup and delivery of goods; and to conduct inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized workshop and adhere to safety protocols.
- Wear appropriate PPE and follow the Employee Handbook & Company Safety Protocols.
- Record daily tasks and participate in safety meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the managers.

**Requirements/Experience**:

- Valid (non GDL) driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in building maintenance tasks.
- Skills in electrical, plumbing, and repairs are advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance tasks and troubleshoot problems.
- Commitment to safety standards and learning new skills.
- Capability to work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work independently and handle physical demands such as lifting (up to 80 pounds) and climbing ladders.
