The Department has a significant academic and research profile in the areas of: genome dynamics, epigenetics and gene expression; human genetics and clinical biochemistry; signal transduction and intracellular communication; macromolecular structure and dynamics; proteomics and bioinformatics.

**Course Information**:
Community-Engaged Learning and Research Skills in Translational Cancer Biology - Biochemistry 4955E
This capstone course focuses on the translation of cancer research discoveries into clinical practice, emphasizing interdisciplinary approaches, critical thinking, research design and evaluation of data from the literature.
**Responsibilities**:
You will be responsible for all activities associated with the successful delivery of the course, including but not limited to: developing, preparing, and delivering the course; setting and marking examinations, assessing the academic work of students, and reporting grades.
**Qualifications**:
In accordance with the Faculty Collective Agreement, consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications, including qualifications which go beyond the requirements for the position. Applicants should have fluent written and oral communication skills in English.
