Cis Specialist

**General Job Description**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Concept, creation of Web / Media Design projects for company needs;
- Evaluating Design End User Interface, modifying and working with the Developers team in order to finalize the projects;
- Documenting software, and End User Documentation for the implementation process;
- Record the issues and communicate, propose and/or implement solutions;
- Prioritize, schedule problems and escalate problems to the appropriately experienced CIS developer;
- Help in maintaining the local network area, equipment used (computers, photocopiers, scanners, printers, phones, hardware) as hardware support;
- Collaborate with CIS team on relevant initiatives and issues;
- Required to support Stratford Plant with projects, and travel is required.

**Skills & Requirements**:

- Experience entry level for C#.Net, VB.Net, Xamarin, WPF, Web API, Web Services ;
- Experience with Web developing tools;
- Experience of querying / Store Procedures SQL (administration / database concept / architecture ), MySQL ; (Oracle, AS400 is an asset but not required) ;
- Knowledge of Schemas, Design and Database structures
- Knowledge of Crystal Reports are assets but not require;
- Experience of Microsoft Server and workstation Windows operating system software as well as client / server architecture;
- Working knowledge of Web Servers, Media Servers, Share Point;
- Testing developed code for conformance to specifications, performance, and scalability
- Reproducing, isolating, fixing issues and performing problem analysis.
- Troubleshooting production issues raised by technical support team
- Actively participating in an IT Development team
- Strong documentation skills;

**Education or Experience**

College/ University education with focus on Computer programing; or minimum 5 years of experience; or equivalent on education and experience.

**Language Skills**
- Ability to read and interpret software documentation;
- Ability to present information or training in a oneon-one or small group setting;
- Ability to perform solve software issues verbally with skilled or unskilled staff;
**Reasoning Ability**
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations;
- Ability to work remotely on VPN environment to troubleshoot urgent reported issue;
