**Dispatch Clerk - Nights (Contract)**

Join our exciting and dynamic team at Linamar Transportation Working in the Dispatch department, providing administrative functions - Customs Clearances, updating data system, sending notifications, general administrative duties.

Sunday - Thursday, Night shift 8pm - 4am, shift time may vary. 6 Month Contract.

**Performance Expectations**

Customs Clearances

Track equipment, freight, and drivers through use of satellite and/or two-way radio

Communicate and direct customer service on issues and information that need to be communicated to customers, such as freight delivery delays and billing issues

Collect, sort, and distribute all driver trip envelopes

Ensure that all driver trip envelops are complete and accurate

Other Duties as assigned

**Credentials**

Experience with Fleet Manager, LoadLink, ACE & ACI an asset

Completion of Secondary school diploma

Ability to interpret and give both verbal and written instructions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Prioritization skills and be multi-task oriented

Ability to develop and maintain co-operative working relationships with co-workers and customer

Ability to accomplish task in a controlled, effective manner while working under stress

Keen attention to detail

Leads and directs the work of others
