**Business Development Consultant (Large Format Printers) - Virtual**
- Do you have experience in developing and nurturing relationships with tech resellers and distributors?
- Can your relationship skills help distributors and resellers identify business opportunities?
Are you motivated by exceeding your sales targets?
Reporting to the Sr. Director, Wholesale you will be accountable for the development and maintenance of Canon’s B2B distribution channel, and working with resellers in the tech sector, with a focus on print and document imaging equipment.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop new business opportunities in the reseller market.
- Identify partner opportunities within the reseller channel.
- Meet and exceed sales expectations for the assigned product line.
- Forecast revenue.
- Present and train resellers on the assigned product line.
- Manage distributor and reseller programs.
- Maintain and nurture relationships with existing resellers and distributors.
**To Succeed, You Will Need**:
- Minimum of 3 years in sales with a focus on tech distributors and/or resellers.
- Business Development mind set to grow and develop the B2B reseller and distribution channel.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize your responsibilities.
- Ability to grasp technology and deliver product demonstrations and training to distributors.
- Understand how to effectively forecast sales and track data.
- Travel to tradeshows across Canada and US as required (less than 10%).

You will only report to the office if there is specific business needs, such as training, team meetings, etc. (work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs).
