**Who We Are Looking For**:
We are looking for a Production Chef to join our Culinary Department. As a member of our team, you will be preparing food in a timely manner while maintaining a high level of quality and sanitation. You are responsible for providing first class service to our members and supporting and guiding the junior level staff in the kitchen. You must uphold and maintain the standard of the executive Chef and/or his/her designate.

**What is expected of you**:

- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to supervise, motivate and work with other employees
- Ability to work in a high-energy and demanding environment
- Strong organization and leadership skills
- Be creative, keeping up with food trends that will enhance club members
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 13 hours)
- Must be able to follow printed recipes and plate specifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, upscale restaurant
- Strong work ethic, ability to establish work priorities, train and motivate coworkers
- Work in an efficient manner while managing multiple tasks and priorities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to respond quickly to issues and make effective decisions under pressure
- Banquet experience is an asset

**Your Qualifications**:

- More than 4 years of overall culinary experience and at least 2 years of previous relevant experience as a Production Chef
- Food Safe Certification
- Coaching skills with experience training and supervising team members
- Graduated from a recognized culinary program an asset
- Red Seal Certification is an asset, completion of a proper apprenticeship is preferred
- Experience in a private Club environment a definite asset
- WHMIS Certification an asset
