Calgary, Canada Lotic Technologies Inc. Full time

Our company is seeking a skilled draftsman to join our team and assist us with product design and development. As a draftsman in this role, you will work closely with our team of engineers and designers to create detailed drawings and models for new and existing products.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed drawings and models of products using CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure that all designs are compliant with industry standards, regulations, and best practices
- Assist in developing and refining product designs and specifications
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing existing products by upkeep of drawings and P&IDs and enhancing design criteria
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all designs are aligned with project objectives and timelines
- Attend design reviews, status meetings, and other project-related meetings as required
- Assist in the preparation of reports, technical specifications, and other project-related documentation
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures, and in compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or certificate in Drafting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in drafting and design
- Experience in facilities drafting an asset
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship.
