**Primary Job Functions (All Seasons)**:

- Maintain and ensure the physical safety of the site. Including reporting all needed repairs to the Executive Director.
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are in operating order:

- Ensure they are in compliance with government standards
- Proper seasonal change duties: Winterization, Facility preparation for Spring/Summer operations
- Coordinate with the Executive Director if contractors are needed. Keep a contact list of contract repair work.
- In consultation with the Executive Director, evaluate and set priorities for short-term maintenance and long-term capital projects.
- Verify all facilities and waterfront daily, verify all trails weekly. Maintain surveillance for any unscheduled visitors and greet all vehicles.
- Maintaining a safe and risk-free environment
- Ensure all safety equipment is in good working order.
- Ensuring snow removal to all facility entrances and exits, including staircases and ramps, as well as rooftops as needed.
- Responsible for selecting a snow removal company with expense approval by the Executive Director.
- Maintain site and workshop in a neat and organized condition, including an inventory of all tools and equipment
- Note: Personal items should be kept in Facilities Manager’s cottage or storage areas.
- Maintaining and providing a clean and hygienic environment
- Maintaining a high cleanliness standard in all facilities, including waxing floors.
- Ensure proper disposal of all garbage and recyclables.
- Mowing the lawn on a regular basis
- Maintaining all trails.

**Off Season Duties**
- Provide tours of the site to prospective groups or interested parties
- Greet rental groups
- Be present at time of check-in and check-out
- Perform walkthroughs to visually inspect the site and ensure conditions are satisfactory at arrival and departure. Special attention to cleanliness, damage and missing items.
- Provide support to rental groups as needed.
- Advise rental group leaders of all emergency and medical equipment:

- Fire extinguishers locations, fire prevention precautions, waterfront policies, etc.
- Ensure the site has all supplies needed to host rental groups:

- Firewood, cleaning products, toilet paper, dish detergent, etc.
- Order missing supplies as needed
- Supervise work performed by volunteers or hired staff
- Sign timesheets
- Ensure relevant safety standards are met in all work undertaken on site

**Summer Season Duties**
- Be responsible for the Maintenance Team and report to the Site Director during summer operations.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $19,825.00-$31,825.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
