We are seeking part time Cashiers to join our Café 29 Team. As a Café 29 Cashier you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional member service experiences by providing prompt, efficient and friendly service to our members and guests, while striving for consistency. You will showcase passion in the products that you are serving, and be able to educate the membership with menu and product knowledge.

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcoming members and guests, informing them about specials or new items, answering their questions, helping them locate items, and providing advice or recommendations
- Preparing a variety of baked goods and beverages such as smoothies and specialty coffees
- Clearing and cleaning tables and stocking items
- Attend Café 29 meetings and training sessions
- Ensures compliance with all Glencoe Health and Safety standards and the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience with customer service, food & beverage preparation in a fast paced environment
- Experience and an understanding of POS systems
- Excellent organizational and service skills
- Understanding of health standards
- The ability to lift heavy dishpans and various kitchen equipment
- The ability to stand/walk for long periods
