**THE ROLE**:
Reporting to the Site Senior or Field Supervisor, the **Temporary** **Field Assistant** supports various field tests, field data collection, and assists with the decommissioning of the Feasibility Field Test equipment within this **temporary fixed term** assignment.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:
You have a solid background of relevant skills acquired from previous field experience working in remote locations. You bring a strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, willingness to learn and be trained, and a commitment to safety and safe work practices at all times. Additional qualifications and attributes include:

- 1-2 years of similarly relevant work experience (e.g., remote field work, mining industry) is required; experience in the uranium industry is considered an asset.
- Capable of performing various field tests and willing to learn field test procedures as required.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully follow instructions and directions and execute tasks safely and accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully interact with all levels of staff, contractors, and vendors in order to perform tasks, share information, and achieve goals.
- Possession of a Drivers’ License that is valid and in good standing, and the willingness to operate vehicles in remote areas.
- Experience driving an ATV is an asset.
- Solid communication skills are required to articulate, convey, clarify and report information and progress updates to others.
- Certified in First Aid strongly preferred.
- Computer proficiency to complete data-entry type tasks is required; Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.
- Willingness and ability to carryout work tasks and duties outdoors, lifting up to 50 lbs regularly, and with varying hours of work (up to 11 hours per day).
- Ability to wear and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and assigned; CSA approved steel toe boots are mandatory.

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Work closely with and follow the direction of the Denison Site Senior or Field Supervisor to carry out duties against communicated deadlines.
- Actively participate in a variety of activities and tasks that support geological, hydrogeological, environmental, drilling, and/or field programs at the Project site.
- Safely carry out activities to relocate geological drill core.
- Clean and decontaminate field test equipment as required and in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Decommissioning the Feasibility Field Test equipment including sorting of waste and recyclable materials.
- Carry out tasks against a set schedule to ensure the wash car and office are regularly cleaned and sanitized.
- Ensure generators are appropriately fueled and maintain an accurate inventory of equipment and materials.
- Perform environmental baseline data collection activities.
- Perform all duties and activities in accordance with Standard Operating and Work Procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Denison is also responsible for mine care and maintenance of its decommissioned mine sites in Elliot Lake, Ontario.

Denison’s flagship project is the Wheeler River Uranium Project (the “Project”), which is the largest undeveloped uranium mining project in the infrastructure-rich eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin region in northern Saskatchewan. The Project is located approximately 35 km north-northeast of Cameco’s Key Lake Operation and 35 km southwest of Cameco’s McArthur River Operation in the eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin. The Project is accessible by vehicle and is located about 5 km west of Highway 914.

In August 2023, Denison filed (i) the Feasibility Study ("Phoenix FS") completed for In-Situ Recovery ("ISR") mining of the high-grade Phoenix uranium deposit ("Phoenix") and (ii) a cost update to the 2018 Pre-Feasibility Study for conventional underground mining of the basement-hosted Gryphon uranium deposit ("Gryphon").
