**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate trucks to transport loads to designated locations in a timely manner.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Load and unload, ensuring proper handling of materials and adherence to weight limits.
- Maintain accurate records including bills of lading, and weigh scale tickets.
- Operate heavy equipment/ labour when not driving truck.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
- Perform basic maintenance on vehicles, including minor repairs and troubleshooting as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Valid 1A or 3A driver's license is required.
- Experience in commercial driving is essential; familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus.
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and front end loaders safely for loading/unloading tasks is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a basic understanding of automotive repair for minor vehicle maintenance.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Must have a clean driving record and pass background checks as required by company policy.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal

Pay: $25.00-$29.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
