**Childcare Educator - On-Call**

**Description of role and responsibilities**:The Childcare Educator On-Call works in all Kits House childcare programs. This involves working with children from ages 0-12 years at our programs at Kits House, The Collective Tennyson Childcare Centre and Dunbar Kids Club. Responsible for assisting with supervision of children, leading circle and activities, assisting with preparation of snack, ensuring children’s safety and light cleaning.

**Hours**:shifts between 7:30am-6pm
With 3 locations and 8 programs, there is plenty of opportunity to work as little or as much as your schedule allows.

**Rate**:$19.70-21.36/hr depending on experience plus $4/hr ECE Wage Enhancement for those who qualify

**Start Date**:ASAP

**Qualifications Required**:

- Valid ECE or ECEA License to practice or Responsible Adult Certificate
- Valid First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Criminal Record Check
- Minimum 1 year experience in licensed childcare
- Minimum age 19 years (as per licensing regulations)
