Willowridge Construction is currently searching for EXCAVATOR OPERATROS to join our team for our project in Edson, Alberta. This is a long term earthworks project on site at the Cascade power plant. Compensation includes overtime pay and daily LOA.

**Role and Responsibilities**

Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Carry out minor maintenance and inspection of equipment

Perform excavation for topsoil stripping rough grading, final grading, culvert installation, trenching, truck loading, concrete and asphalt removal

Follow marks on grade stakes or hand signals.

Level soil, rock and debris

Demonstrate clear understanding of roadway plans, drawings and grades

Follow instruction and collaborate with others to complete tasks

Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications, Training and Education**

Minimum 3 years of experience with sloping, leveling, cutting grade (finish work)

Minimum 5 years of experience as an operator

Previous experience operating on industrial sites is a requirement

Gradesman experience is considered an asset

Must have valid CSTS-09, WHMIS 2015, Ground Disturbance level 2

Hard working, positive attitude & willingness to learn

Desire to complete tasks in a timely manner

Personal vehicle, drivers abstract and valid driver’s license required

Must be able to pass pre-employment testing as required
