**Job Overview**: We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our team as Snow Shovelers. As a Snow Shoveler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient removal of snow and ice from designated areas. This position is crucial in maintaining a clean and accessible environment during winter weather conditions.

**Duties**:

- Clearing snow from walkways, driveways, and parking lots using shovels and/or snow blowers.
- Inspect and maintain shoveling equipment to ensure in proper working condition.
- Keeping track of weather conditions and being prepared to work in various weather conditions.
- Safely and effective use of equipment and reporting on any equipment malfunctions or damage promptly to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries during snow removal activities.
- Use proper lifting techniques to avoid personal injury.
- Be available and punctual during snow removal shifts.
- Respond promptly to weather-related calls for additional work during snow emergencies.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate snow removal efforts.
- Provide status updates on completed tasks and report any issues encountered during shift.

**Qualifications**:

- Physically fit with the ability to perform manual labour in cold and challenging weather conditions.
- Ability to use snow shoveling equipment safely and effectively.
- Reliable transportation to and from work, especially during adverse weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and commitment to meeting job responsibilities.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and work collaboratively in a team dynamic.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Previous experience in snow removal or related field.
- Familiar with the using snow blowers and other snow removal equipment.
- Basic knowledge of winter weather conditions and their impact on snow removal.

**Working Conditions**:
This positions involves working outdoors in cold and sometimes extreme weather conditions. Snow Shovelers must be prepared for physically demanding work and should dress appropriately for such.

**Job Type**: Seasonal

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 60 per week
