**Position Description**:
Pharmacy Assistant, 40-44 hours per week, Monday thru Friday, Occasional Weekends

**Location and Operation**:
10631-96 Street, Edmonton, AB
Mon - Fri 8:00am to 5:00pm
Sat - Sun 9:00am to 2:00pm
The pharmacy is closed from noon to 12:30pm for lunch during weekdays.

**Purpose of the position**:
Pharmacy assistants are required to help support various Mint projects and patients. They will help in the safe and efficient dispensing of medication by our Mint Health + Drugs pharmacies in our inner-city Edmonton location.

This is a great opportunity for a pharmacy assistant who wishes to work as part of a concerted multidisciplinary effort to help the most vulnerable in Edmonton.

What do you need to qualify?

**Education and Experience**:

- Previous Pharmacy Assistant experience (preferred)
- Kroll experience (highly preferred)
- Current student or graduate of a College Pharmacy Assistant program (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience with vulnerable populations (preferred)

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Computer proficiency with Word, Excel spreadsheets, Kroll, Netcare, and other database programs.
- Very strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Communicates effectively at all levels.
- Very strong attention to details.
- Accepts and responds to changing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
