- Newgate 180 is seeking a family counsellor to work in a part-time position to work under the supervision
- of the executive director. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.
**Duties:**

- Program development
- Facilitate family group support and education sessions
- Maintain ongoing follow-up contact with families
- Clinical note writing and charting
- Prepare final reports and correspondence with employers and family members
**Qualifications:**
***
- A related University degree and Chemical Dependency Counseling
- CACCF or ICADC certification or equivalent
- 5 years + related work experience
**Demonstrated Skills Required:**
***
- Excellent oral & written communications skills
- Leadership skills
- Participatory consultation, planning and action
- Team management & conflict negotiation skills
- Ability to work with mínimal supervision and closely with others
- Family Counseling experience - minimum 2 years
- Job Type: Part-Time Permanent (30 hours per week)
- Salary: $21.47 to $27.71/hour
