Bevo Farms Ltd is the largest supplier of propagated plants in North America, providing greenhouses, field farms, nurseries, and wholesalers across the continent with healthy, vigorous, pest-and-disease-free plants. Bevo operates four facilities in the lower mainland of British Columbia and two facilities in the province of Alberta.

**SUMMARY**

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and organized individual to assist with our Temporary Foreign Worker Program (TFWP). The TFWP is an essential extension of our workforce to ensure business demands are fulfilled on time and to the highest possible standard. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Administration, the Foreign Worker Liaison will be the point of contact for TFW concerns, requests, and program requirements.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinates house inspections for the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, making sure that all accommodations meet the required standards
- Oversees worker room assignments and conducts regular checks to ensure that living quarters are well-maintained and comfortable for all workers
- Coordinates maintenance requests and follows up on any outstanding issues related to employee housing
- Addresses any worker concerns and escalates them to the appropriate manager as required
- Arranges transportation for the TFWs to appointments, including medical and dental appointments
- Facilitates the onboarding of new TFWs, including arranging appointments to obtain the required documentation upon arrival to Canada (SIN, banking information, etc.)
- Monitors the work permit and visa status of currents and communicates upcoming expiration dates
- Provides translation services between English and Spanish to facilitate effective communication

**REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE**
- Experience working in agriculture
- Experience working with a diverse workforce (experience working with TFWs considered an asset)
- Knowledge of the TFWP and LMIA requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Spanish
- Detail oriented, highly organized
- Able to respond quickly to new or changing demands
- Excellent active listening, interpersonal and communication skills
