Metal Roofer

We are a 35yr old Construction Company of METAL ROOFING - SIDING - SHEETMETAL;
Primarily Metal Roof Applications;
Standing Seam Metal & Metal Shingles and occasionally Cedar & Slate;
Looking for Quality & Dedicated to Construction TradesPeople,
and/or Labourer, for employment related to Metal Roofing, Siding, Aluminum, Gutters & Rainware, if possible some Single Ply Flat Roofing products of TPO & EPDM & PVC products;
We are a small company in Newcastle, On, working typically within a 50km radius east & north and some west AND working on many projects into cottage country of north and east of 401 highway;
Typically working on new custom home projects and custom cottage projects and retrofit residential projects and on a limited basis of specialty commercial type projects;
We perform "quality" & dedicated workmanship with a dedicated team, for long-term warranted metal roof system, on quality high-end projects;
We typically work all year as weather permits and as winter permits - in winter snow amounts & cold temperatures, may dictate shutdown for xmas and possibly late January into early March ;
We typically work Monday to Thursday aka 4 Day Work Week based on a minimum of 10hrs per day/40yrs per week and typically 3 day wknds;
If we loose time by bad weather, then we work the Friday and/or adjust work schedules accordingly by the weather;
PROSPECTIVE EMPLOYEE - requires to provide the following;
- some experience or mínimal experience, depending resume and past work experience;
- employee with polite and positive work ethics who works safely and efficiently;
- employees who are punctual & reliable to attend work daily "on-time" and for long-term;
- employee's who are confident in themselves to work individually and/or as a team;
- employee's who are comfortable to be WORKING AT HEIGHTS and all heights and all types of slope roofs & flat roofs;
- employee's who are prepared to work in all types of weather, any time of year, safely yet effectively;
- employee MUST have a valid "G" drivers licence or better, and provide drivers abstract upon request;
- employee's must be able to work to some heavy labour;
- employee's to provide medical clearance for work;
- employee's, in this day & age, to work to non-smoking policies as deemed, within the workplace and on buildings & sites;
- experience to little experience to no experience, may be considered, depending on the person and types of past work experiences;
- work well in a team environment - its all for one and one for all

- hourly paid - weekly pay direct deposit - Employee Agreement

- on custom out-of-town projects exceeding 200km radius occasions, we provide a daily meal cost allowance & costs on accommodations provided;

**Salary**: $44,234.00-$88,409.00 per year
