**What you will be doing**:

- Delivers core curriculum as defined in the program charter.
- Develops weekly class sessions, activities and assignments that highlight the core curriculum and related topics.
- Integrates current best practices and industry-focused material into class discussion and provides instruction that fosters student achievement of course and program outcomes.
- Provides both formal and informal feedback (including marking of assessments) that clearly indicates the student’s progress through the material.
- Establishes a classroom environment conducive to collaborative learning.

**What you bring to the position**:

- BA/BSC or equivalent in Social Services and/or Addiction Counseling
- 3 years of Professional experience in addiction worker, with a strong knowledge of industry practices.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A passion for teaching and inspiring students from diverse backgrounds.
- Membership with the Canadian Addiction Counselors Certification Federation (CACCF)
- Reliable internet connection and home office setup.
