**Position Responsibilities**
- The Donald School of Business, Science, and Technology is seeking a Sessional Biology instructor commencing on August 16th, 2023.- The Donald School of Business, Science, and Technology seeks faculty members with ongoing engagement in their academic and professional fields and a passion for teaching. The successful responsibilities of faculty include:
- supporting the success of students with diverse cultural and educational backgrounds and learning styles
- assessing student learning in ways that both facilitate learning and ensure achievement against appropriate academic standards
- contributing to course and program curriculum development and renewal
- working collegially within department, School, or College committees and project teams
- promoting equity, diversity, inclusion, and indigenization in all aspects of working and learning and Red Deer Polytechnic
- Faculty may be required to teach on campus and/or online (with synchronous or asynchronous instruction). All faculty may be required to attend on campus meetings and events.

There is paid time off due to Institution closures between Christmas and New Year general holidays.
