**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable, including processing invoices and ensuring timely payments.
- Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring all employee hours and deductions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare budgets and assist in financial forecasting to support strategic planning.
- Generate financial reports as needed for management review.

**Qualifications**
- Proficiency in accounting software such as quickbooks is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Experience in budgeting and account analysis is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with team members across departments.
- Extensive experience as a clerk or in a similar bookkeeping role is preferred.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $26.64-$27.70 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 20 per week

Schedule:

- 4 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

**Education**:

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:

- QuickBooks: 5 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)
