Purchasing Contract Manager - North America

- Your role:
Being part of the Track and System Purchasing North American team, for her/his supplier's Portfolio:

- Ensure operational contract feasibility.
- Manage supplier performance.
- Manage and optimize the contracts during their lifetime.
- Contribute to the efficiency of Purchase to Pay (P2P) process.

We need you for:
On the worldwide/zone/country perimeter:

- Collaborate with internal customers and suppliers to optimize the use of the contract and operational efficiency
- Evaluate supplier performance using metrics (value creation)
- Ensure respect of purchasing and procurement plans to use compliance KPIs (Capacity, Risk mitigation, Forecast, cost savings )
- Make administrative management of contracts and monitor alerts.
- Support senior buyers with executing contracts and respect signatory processes
- Contribute to contract drafting with the Senior Buyers
- Deploy the contracts from supplier creation till payment of first invoice
- Make recommendations to zones/countries about purchasing process and support implementation (Beyond Road, North America)
- Assume the leadership on Ordering and Invoicing process parts of the contracts
- Create and maintain schedule agreements / blanket PO
- Consolidate claims and solve / ensure solving and closure.
- Respect Group requirements: quality, Corporate Social Responsibility, Michelin Purchasing Principles...

What do you need to possess for being successful?
- You hold a bachelor’s degree or technical degree in administration, a paralegal certification or equivalent.
- You have 2-5 years of experience in purchasing or in contract management within a multinational.
- You have experience with managing supplier commercial contracts with manufacturing companies.
- You provide a track record of strong autonomy, and you are detail oriented.
- You are a team player comfortable with different expertise and cultures.
- You are efficient with Microsoft Office (word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- You are bilingual English and French (essential).
