Demolition Labourer

As a demolition labourer, your primary responsibilities include the following:
1.Site Preparation: Assisting in preparing the demolition site by clearing the area of debris, securing safety barriers, and implementing necessary safety measures.

2.Demolition Techniques: Using various tools and equipment such as jackhammers, sledgehammers, and power saws to safely and efficiently demolish items, including walls, roofs, floors, and other building components.

3. Material Removal: Sorting and removing construction materials, debris, and waste generated during the demolition process, ensuring proper disposal according to regulations and company policies.

4. Salvage Operations: Identifying salvageable materials or equipment that can be reused or recycled, and assisting in their removal for potential resale or repurposing.

5. Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with other members of the demolition crew, as well as supervisors and project managers, to ensure a coordinated and efficient demolition process.

6. Safety Compliance: Following all safety guidelines and protocols to minimize the risk of accidents or injuries, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety regulations.

7. Equipment Maintenance: Assisting in the maintenance and cleaning of demolition tools and equipment, reporting any malfunctions or damages to supervisors for repairs or replacements.

It is important for a demolition labourer to have physical strength, stamina, and the ability to work in potentially hazardous environments. Additionally, attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$35.00 per hour
