As the Associate Vice President (AVP) of Enterprise Architecture Practice, you will head and dynamically redefine the enterprise architecture practice and governance across the enterprise. Modernizing and standing up an elevated definition of enterprise-wide architectural technology principles, standards, and patterns ensuring technology and solutions will deliver to stakeholder expectations while aligning with corporate strategies. The AVP, Enterprise Architecture Practice guides and advocates for technology innovation while simultaneously driving consistency, reusability, and optimization of highly complex systems across the enterprise.

**How you will create impact**:

- Supportively providing senior-level guidance for IT solution architecture content, practices, decision support, governance, and the evolution of shared technology services.
- Driving forward cost optimizations, accelerated delivery of projects, operational efficiencies, and the reduction of risks through the effective ownership and governance of the Architecture Review Board (ARB), Architecture Guild, and other related forums.
- Developing standards and reference architectures to enable efficiencies and guide the organization forward.
- Cultivating a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement, establishing the processes, tools, and governance to support innovation.
- Exploring, incubating, and exploiting new technologies and solutions with a business acumen valuation on how they can support the corporate strategy, and scenarios they could be used within the organization.
- Communicating with clarity and influence to IT and business areas on maintaining regulatory compliant business processes and operational controls; and on researching and implementing new technology solutions for appropriateness, maturity, and strategic fit.
- Leading and engaging your team to deliver strategic objectives through the evolvement of the Applied Innovation function, effective coaching and mentoring, identifying and developing emerging talent, and fostering an innovative, collaborative, and agile culture.

**To join our team**:

- You have 10 years of progressive IT experience including years of practice directly overseeing an architecture or solution design team.
- You have a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Technology Management, or another field of study with relevant experience.
- Having an Enterprise Architecture framework certification is an asset (ex. Zachman, TOGAF ).
- You have experience in developing and/or operating an enterprise/solution architecture practice with in-depth expertise in architecture principles, methodologies, best practices, and standards.
- You have a broad understanding of modern technology practices, technology trends and industry with an acumen to understand long and short-term implications and perspectives of situations.
