Part of the APRIL Group with 2,500 employees worldwide, APRIL Canada currently employs 120 people across Canada (Toronto, Calgary, Laval and Brossard).

**What we expect from you for this position**:

- Your main role is to be available to answer queries our brokers may have. This ranges from explaining our main products, introducing to and guiding through our online quoting platform APRIL ON, giving them updates on ongoing transactions or directing them to another person in the organization who can serve them. _

**Your role will include**:

- Having a good understanding of our company’s structure, business lines and ways of working, in order to be able to answer to most questions
- Keeping connected to the team
- Helping the business development team for simple tasks

This is a perfect position for a person without a lot of insurance background, who might want to grow in that sector. We will provide all necessary training and support.

**You’ll fit in our team if you**:

- Enjoy being helpful and are service oriented
- Have good written and oral communication skills. You need to have excellent command of either English or French. Being bilingual would be a plus.
- Feel energized in a dynamic work environment
- Aren’t intimidated by sometimes conflictual situations, with an unhappy broker
- Are able to multitask, work autonomously and adjust priorities
- Are curious and have the ability to absorb new knowledge quickly
- Are happy to interact with various team members from different departments
- Wish to evolve towards other functions in the field of insurance
- Having experience in a customer service position is a plus

**Please note**:

- This is an entry-level position. We would be happy to welcome students, including for a part time position. We can accommodate flexible schedules.
- This position can be handled 100% remotely. But we would also be happy to have you in one of our offices in Toronto, Laval or Brossard. Hybrid work would also be welcomed. We will provide all work equipment.
