Youth Pastor

Wage: _Based on experience and education_

Arnold Community Church is looking for a Youth Pastor to join our team. This person will be a spiritually maturing disciple of Jesus called to serve youth and equipped to oversee a Youth Ministry that seeks to know Jesus and make Him known. Together with an engaged volunteer ministry team, this individual will focus on making disciples of the youth of our community.

*If interested, there are other part time employment possibilities with employers in our congregation, to help supplement for full time hours.

**Prerequisites & Qualifications**:

- Strong faith in their call to serve the Lord through the local church by serving youth and the families.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage an enthusiastic volunteer team, ability to empower them to serve well.
- An individual who has completed (or close to completion) an undergraduate program with a good foundation in Bible, Theology, and Youth. Persons not having these criteria may be considered based on spiritual maturity, depth of biblical/theological understanding, and previous ministry experience.

**Outline of Responsibilities**:

- Leadership in Youth Ministry_
- Provide overall leadership to our Middle Ground (Jr High) and Youth (Sr High) programs.
- Ongoing development/discipleship of volunteer youth ministry team so that they can disciple/develop youth (Eph. 4:11-16).
- Seek mentor relationships with the youth and youth leaders.
- Integrate with the larger ACC Family.
- Demonstrate a desire for and pursuit of further professional growth which may take the form of formal or informal learning.
- Coordination/administration of the Youth Ministry_
- Youth Pastor is accountable to the Lead Pastor and works with the Office Manager in various administrative tasks.
- Manage Criminal Record Checks of all youth volunteers (working with Office Manager).
- Administrate and oversee equipping of volunteers.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 22 per week

**Salary**: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
