**Role**: Technical Operations Manager - Builder Division
**Status**: Full Time, Regular
**Department**: Builder Division
**Business Unit**: Enercare Home & Commercial Services
**Reports to**: Senior Manager - Technical Services and Engineering
**Location**: Hybrid (Office/Home/Field)
Reporting to Senior Manager of Technical Services and Engineering, the Technical Operations Manager will be a vital member of the Builder Team and will be ultimately responsible for managing and supporting Enercare’s relationship with Builders and growth of the customer base within the New Home Construction. By working as part of the sales team, the Technical Operations Manager will use their technical skills to explain the benefits of the products or services to customers and supporting the division, as required.
**Accountabilities**:
- Support new business development
- Assist with sales strategy and product specification
- Work closely and build strong relationships with all functional groups within Enercare
- Represent Enercare in local Home Builder Associations events
- Offer day to day support for sales team, customers, dealers, builders and builder partners
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining products or services to customers and prospective customers
- Confer with customers and engineers to assess equipment needs and to assist with determining system requirements
- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
- Help clients solve problems with installed equipment
- Recommend improved materials or equipment to customers, showing how changes will lower costs while complying with project requairements
- Help in researching, supporting and developing new products
- Work with research and development (R&D) to help identify and develop new products
- Collaboration with product committees and other technical committees
- Accountable for overall customer care and satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry trends, building codes, regulations, advancements, and emerging technologies in the HVAC field.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to HVAC systems, including equipment failures, performance deficiencies, and system malfunctions.
**Qualifications**:
- Experience in Sales an asset
- Experience in Account Management an asset
- Experience in Builder Industry an asset
- Experience in HVAC Industry an required
- Experience in technical and/or training an asset
- Extensive knowledge of the technologically sophisticated products in New Home Construction
- Strong leadership skills and have excellent time management skills
- Must be self-motivated, energetic and have a positive attitude
- Flexibility for evening and weekend events and meetings
