Asphalt Paver

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paver to join our team. As an Asphalt Paver, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and machinery to pave asphalt on roads, parking lots, and other surfaces. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Operate paver spreader, skid steer, tailend, roller, and packer safely and efficiently on roadwork construction at various jobsites.
- Set up proper safety controls onsite and follow safety guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Complete jobs in a good and workmanlike manner ensuring work meets industry standards.

Qualifications and Skills
- Experience on a construction crew
- Experience operating construction equipment listed above
- Strong work ethic, problem solving and communication skills to resolve and troubleshoot
- Excellent communication skills, ability to oversee and manage your team
- Strong organizational an time management abilities.
- Employee may be required to perform other related duties as assigned.
- **Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience
- A knowledge of all paving equipment and paving processes.
- Ability to operate a paver in a safe and appropriate manner.
- Ability to control asphalt delivery to maintain required asphalt thickness and smoothness.
- A knowledge of proper machine startup, shutdown and maintenance.
- Physical strength and coordination.
- Ability to work safely and to stay alert at all times.

**Salary**: $16.55-$41.35 per hour
