**The Role**

The IT Project Manager performs as a leader in a fluid and challenging environment, managing a variety of projects including implementations, integrations and optimizations. They are detail oriented, client focused problem solvers that prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and achieve milestones.

The IT Project Manager is an adept communicator, with the ability to translate technical terms and information for non-technical audiences including key decision makers. They naturally build and nurture effective relationships with clients and team members.

**What you’ll get to do as an IT Project Manager**
- Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle for integration and upgrade projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- As the primary point of contact with the client, effectively collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocation plans, budgets, schedules and risk management strategies.
- Continuously monitor project progress, identify, and mitigate risks, and proactively address issues to keep projects on track.
- Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure projects are completed within financial constraints.
- Track and report project performance metrics to stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, financials, and key deliverables.
- Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of project deliverables.
- Proactively propose improvements to methods, systems, and procedures.

**What you’ll need to be successful**
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Computer Science, Business Analysis, Information Technology, or Engineering
- 2 - 4 years’ experience in project coordination, project management, or a related role
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent preferred
- Extensive experience in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with a strong focus on Agile methodologies
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects, with working knowledge of Agile delivery methods within software delivery projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines and staying within budget
- Effectively manages expectations and gathers feedback throughout the life of the project
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming project challenges
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams
- Highly collaborative and an excellent team player

Pay: $78,000.00-$112,600.00 per year
