**Seize this opportunity to support the Department of Health and Social Services to plan, develop and analyze programs and services.**

We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual with exceptional analytical and interpersonal skills for the role of Program and Project Analyst.

You will:

- Support the directors, managers and staff of Social Services Division and Insured Health in assessing the impact of programs and services;
- Work closely with program delivery supervisors and frontline staff to ensure programs are delivered in compliance with policy and legislation;
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key client groups, including but not limited to, senior management, policy branch, and staff, and First Nations management and staff;
- Measure the achievement of program goals, and support evidence-based decisions on resource allocations to support the achievement of mandates and objectives;
- Lead and implement quality improvement, performance monitoring evaluation and project management functions; and
- Perform analysis of data, using qualitative and quantitative data analysis methods.

- Post-secondary degree in a Health or Social Science field with a quality improvement, evaluation or research focus.
- Experience designing and implementing data collection protocols, quality improvement programs, and performing detailed analyses under time pressure
- Experience collecting, analyzing and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data, and making recommendations to senior management
- Experience in identifying and resolving data quality issues, evaluating programs and producing plain-language reports
- Experience building and maintaining working relationships, and working with diverse groups
- Experience working in a social services program sector would be an asset

- Strong research, data analysis and program evaluation skills
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- The ability to work effectively with quality improvement and evaluation frameworks and metrics
- The ability to keep accurate records
- The ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- The ability to work well independently and under pressure
- Well versed with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Visio, Outlook, Excel, Access)

**Additional Information**

**Conditions of Employment**: WHMIS 2015, Class 5 drivers license
