NextStar Energy (NSE) is a joint venture between LG Energy Solution and Stellantis. NextStar Energy will be Canada's first large-scale lithium-ion battery production plant when it begin production at the site on over 200-acres of land on Twin Oaks Drive near Banwell Road.

The manufacturing facility is targeted to have an annual production capacity in excess of 49 gigawatt hours and will create an estimated 2,500 new jobs in Windsor and the surrounding areas.

**This person will be responsible for**:

- Assist in the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and requirements
- Conduct market research to identify potential vendors and evaluate their capabilities
- Prepare and analyze procurement reports, identifying cost-saving opportunities
- Support in the creation and management of purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Previous experience in procurement or a related field is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
