JC Glass and Aluminum Inc. is a commercial and industrial installation company specializing in curtain wall store front systems, doors, skylights, canopies, railings, while adhering to corporate and safety policies. JC Glass and Aluminum Inc. is currently seeking a Journeyman Glazier with experience in curtainwall installation projects.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications and frame layout
- Position glass panes into frames and secure glass using clips, points, or mouldings
- Assemble and install prefabricated glass products
- Fabricate metal frames for glass installation
- Work and communicate alongside lead hand, coworkers, and supervisors

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in curtain wall and store front systems a must
- Red Seal Certification or working towards obtaining certification
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of glass types and the different materials required for glass repair and installation
- The ability to use glazier hand tools and equipment to measure, cut, and shape various materials for repair or maintenance
- Strong customer service and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Fall protection, WHIMIS, Aerial Lift certification an asset
- Full PPE Required

**WORK ENVIRONMENT**:

- Heights greater 10 feet, outdoors in all temperatures and at safe sensitive work sites
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 - 75lbs
- Bending and kneeling
- Lower Mainland

**COMPENSATION**:

**SCHEDULE**:

- 7:00AM - 3:30PM
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime depending on availability

**LICENSE/CERTIFICATION**:

- Red Seal Glazier Journeyman and Apprentices welcome
- Driver’s license an asset

**LANGUAGE**:

- English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31.00-$38.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
