We're looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to work alongside our existing team members in our Out of School Care Program

Our team of passionate educators is committed to fostering a love of learning and ensuring each child feels valued and supported. We are currently seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our team.

As an Early Childhood Educator at Adventureland Daycare & OSC, you will play a key role in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for school aged children. You will create a safe and engaging environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning. Your passion for early childhood education and your commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive atmosphere will be essential in supporting the growth and development of the children in our care.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement a variety of activities that support the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social development of children.
- Create a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for children.
- Observe and document children’s progress and development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child’s progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a cohesive and supportive team environment.
- Ensure compliance with Alberta’s childcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

**Qualifications**:

- A certificate or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- Certification as an Early Childhood Educator (Level 2 or 3) in Alberta.
- Previous experience working in a childcare setting is preferred.
- Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive environment for children of all backgrounds and abilities.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification.
- Ability to pass a background check.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $22.55 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Leduc, AB T9E 6M6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- DAYCARE setting (excluding classroom or babysitting): 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- LEVEL 2 OR 3 ALBERTA ECE CERTIFICATE (required)

Work Location: In person
