Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Technician to join our team. As an Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining audio and visual equipment for various events and presentations. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will ensure seamless audio and visual experiences for our clients.

**Responsibilities**:

- Set up and install audio and visual equipment such as projectors, microphones, speakers, and video screens
- Test and troubleshoot audio and visual equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Operate audio and visual equipment during events, ensuring high-quality sound and visuals
- Collaborate with event organizers to determine their audio and visual needs
- Assist in the design and implementation of audio and visual systems for different venues
- Maintain inventory of audio and visual equipment, ensuring all items are in good working condition
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent malfunctions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in audiovisual systems

Qualifications:

- Strong knowledge of electrical systems and low voltage wiring
- Familiarity with computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Mechanical knowledge to handle equipment setup and maintenance
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings
- Excellent problem-solving skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate setup of equipment
- Experience using hand tools for equipment installation
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients and event organizers

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: $27.77-$30.73 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
