**Hairstylist - Independent Contract**

Intercare has four Care Centres in the Calgary area providing Health and Life Enrichment services in Long Term Care, Hospice and Specialty Care. We are currently looking for an independent contractor to work as a **Hairstylist** within our Southwood Care Centre, located in SW Calgary.

Applicants must have their own hairdressing tools/equipment, current business license, liability insurance, certification/registration recognized by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training, WCB Coverage and must provide proof of a clear Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS). Only applicants that are fully vaccinated against COVID 19 (two full doses) will be considered.

Preferred hours of operation are Mondays and Wednesdays from 0900-1600 but some flexibility is required/permitted. Prices for all hair salon services are set by Intercare. Preference will go to those who have experience and an interest in working with seniors.
