***must be flexible to work during the daytime and evenings on weekdays and weekends**

**Benefits and Perks**
- This position offers 16 - 40 hours of work per week from April to mid-October._
- _Hourly wage: _**_$22.25 per hour_**:

- _Golf and Driving Range privileges_
- _The opportunity to work in a beautiful indoor and outdoor environment_

Redwoods is a tip-free facility so there are no tips or gratuities on top of the posted wage.

**Duties Include**
- _Taking direction from the First Cook to prepare and maintain the kitchen area, work on the line, and close the kitchen down under supervision_
- _Execution of the menus for the restaurant and food truck_
- _Proactively preparing and stocking ingredients for the line_
- _Sweeping and mopping as needed_
- _Assisting in the removal of garbage etc._
- _Ensuring that quality is consistently achieved on all dishes_
- _Other duties as assigned_

- _Culinary skills with proficiency in various cooking techniques_
- _High attention to detail when cooking and plating food_
- _Ability to follow directions accurately_
- _Team oriented_
- _Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment_
- _Quick thinking and 'can-do' attitude_
- _Able to communicate clearly and professionally_
- _Flexibility and adaptability to assist in various kitchen tasks as needed_
- _Customer service skills_

**Qualifications**
- _Minimum of six months experience in a similar culinary role is required_
- _Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required_
- _Valid Food Safe is an asset_
- _Willingness to complete a Police Information Check is required_
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment, the Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North langley just off of Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge_
