Aircraft Plater

**Profile**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Aircraft Plater** to join our manufacturing team in **Sidney BC**. Your expertise and knowledge will contribute to the growth and success of our organization as we strive to maintain high standards of quality and safety in aircraft manufacturing.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Perform all heat treat operations on carbon steels, stainless steels and aluminum alloys in accordance with customer specifications;
- Comprehensive knowledge of process specifications and ensure Company adherence;
- Able to assist in training, directing and supervising Junior Employees;
- Perform instrument and equipment and solution checks as required to meet all customer quality standards;
- Anodize in accordance with customer specifications;
- Passivate in accordance with customer specifications;
- Clean and prepare parts for welding operations;
- Chemically clean and prepare for painting various parts and materials
- Capable of meeting all DOT, Viking Air and customer quality requirements

**Skills & Experience**
- Canadian provincial or inter-provincial plating certification or a completed Kushner electro-plating know-how course, or equivalent ticket from another country is considered an asset
- Able to safely store and maintain consumable materials;
- Able to work safely and efficiently with a minimum of supervision;
