**Functional BA (w/ Data Migration & System Integration exp)** with our client
** **for a
**permanent opportunity**.
**Role Description**:
- Our client is embarking on a multi-year journey to transform its academic and administrative support processes and system environments for the entire university's community. The Integrated Renewal Program will
_implement_ one core platform for students, faculty and staff to conduct administrative tasks - resulting in a better user experience, a new set of tools, a new way of working, and improved reporting for informed decision-making.
The IRP Student is looking for a Business Analyst with experience in
**system integration** (API’s, data integration platforms like MuleSoft).
**Responsibilities**:
- Conducts workflow and gap analysis for operational support processes
- Performs analysis and identification of requirements for data, reporting and integration
- Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of the university's technical and business environment
- Understands key technical environments to effectively identify integration, security, scalability, and performance requirements\
- Builds and maintains good working relationships with project teams, business analyst peers, stakeholders, and vendors
- Analyses the impacts of proposed changes to technology services and or processes within the university community.
- Collaborates with technical data conversion, reporting and integration teams to provide functional information
**Requirements**:
- Strong Background in Requirements Gathering, Process Design, Running Workshops and Working with Stakeholders, All the Things We Would Call ‘Core’ BA Work. It Would Be Great If They Had Done That on A Big System Implementation.
- Working With Huge Amount of Data,
- Extracting Data (Using SQL),
- Using Excel (Pivot Tables, Filters) To Analyze Data,
- Writing Reporting Specifications,
- Writing User Stories or Requirement Documents,
- Assisting With QA Testing,
- Performing Data Reconciliation Testing Between Source and Target Systems,
- Performing Data Mapping Between Source and Target Systems,
- Presenting To Large Audience Including Other BA’s, Developers and QA Team.
**Nice-to-have**:
- Experience in an enterprise-level implementation project is an asset.
