Vacuum Truck Operator

This position will be mainly vacuum truck operation for industrial cleaning and transporting liquid tanker. Minimum 2 years class 1 licence and clean drivers abstract required.

**Responsibilities**:

- Fill out all necessary paperwork accurately; Pre and post trip inspections, bill of lading, drivers log, pre job hazard assessment, work orders, maintenance records.
- Must be able to perform basic housekeeping and preventative maintenance of vehicles, ie, regular greasing of all points, top up fluids, sanitize all touch points after use, keep truck clean inside and out.
- Safe operation of vehicles, adhering to all job procedures, safe work practices and policies.
- Must be physically fit, able to lift 50lbs, perform manual tasks such as shoveling, climbing ladders/tanks, perform confined space entries and work under a respirator if necessary.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Professional interaction with clients and ensuring customer satisfaction is a must.
- Must be focused on safety and able to work as a team.
- Work atmospheres may be dirty, dusty, noisy, damp, cold, hot, all weather conditions.
- Holding the following valid safety certificates will be an asset - WHMIS 2015, First Aid/CPR level C, H2S, Fall Arrest, Confined Space Entry, TDG
- Usual work week is Monday-Friday, 7:30-4:00 but may be extended based on customer demand. Occasional weekend and after hours work should be expected.

**Salary**: $20.50-$23.75 per hour
